The acute sporting KNEE COURSE
Presented by Specialist Sports Physiotherapist Dr Jane Rooney, the course will cover contemporary evidence based assessment and management of commonly presenting acute knee conditions. The updated course format includes 4 hours of self paced online pre course work followed by a 1.5 day face to face practical course, interactive problem solving and a live patient masterclass. The course will cover acute knee presentations and the sequelae of chronic knee impairment assessment including kinetic chain contributors, management and rehabilitation planning for return to function and performance. A live patient masterclass can be attended as a stand alone event but is included in the Sporting knee course. The cases presented include the most commonly encountered knee conditions :
ACL injuries
Patellofemoral joint injuries and pain
Meniscal and chondral injuries
Patella tendinopathy
